TWO early Shaun Jackson strikes proved just enough for Prestwich to seal a win at the Armitage Centre.

Lee Metcalfe’s men are now fourth in the table after registering their fifth win on the bounce.

Jackson’s long-range effort in the fifth minute was too good for the Mancs’ keeper as the ball arrowed under the crossbar.

Seconds later, Craig Howarth’s low free kick from the left was neatly flicked home by Jackson as the hosts defenders stood static. But the Heys Road men lost their momentum and in the 69th minute the Mancs clawed their way back into the game with a near-post header.
