MOTORISTS have been advised to try to avoid Bury New Road northbound at Prestwich village after a car crashed into an estate agent.
A silver Vauxhall Corsa crashed into the shop front after it was clipped by an HGV.
Bury New Road is expected to remain reduced to one lane northbound for several hours while the damaged building is made safe.
Drivers heading north to Bury are advised to use Scholes Lane and Bury Old Road.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
