THIRTEEN proved lucky for Bury-based firm Equanet.
For that was the number of warehouse staff at its Waterfold Park base who gained their National Vocational Qualification level two in warehouse and distribution.
The qualification was achieved through Bury College and followed an 18-month continuous assessment and technical examination.
The successful 13 were: Marcia Ahmed, Rick Bridges, Lee Blower, Matthew Cameron Dempsey, Krzysztof Dudon, Michael Entwistle, Gary Freeman, Parvez Gafoor, Barry Lansdowne, David Nield, Robert Pullan, Michal Sobckyk and Phillip Welshman Along with John Derbyshire, Jacqui Taylor, Linda Wilson and Peri Bentley from Bury College, Phil Birbeck, managing director at Equanet, presented the 13 with their certificates.
He said: βAt Equanet we are a proud family and committed to investing in the training and development of our people.β
