BOSSES at a coffee house in Prestwich have secured a premises licence as part of development plans.
Councillors heard the management at Krave, in Bury Old Road, wanted to provide a new late menu offering pizzas and gourmet burgers with wine and beer.
An objection had been received from a neighbour about the potential for anti-social behaviour.
But the applicants told a borough licensing committee that they also owned a salon above the premises and had never experienced such problems over the past four years.
Borough police had initially opposed the bid, which would see Krave open until 10.30pm, as a premises supervisors had not been identified. This issue was resolved following mediation, heard councillors, who allowed the bid.
