BURY South MP Christian Wakeford MP is closing the voting on the best independent shop competition for his constituency.
He has been looking for the most enterprising candidates in Radcliffe, Prestwich and Whitefield, with a prize for each town.
Mr Wakeford said: "With the recent lockdown caused by coronavirus, it’s more important than ever we support our local shops and high streets."
Constituents were asked to make their nominations for each area, with a winner and runner-up to be picked for each town before a final overall champion is crowned.
Mr Wakeford added: "Our local high streets play a vital role in our communities, in keeping our towns and villages vibrant places, and in creating jobs for local people.
"They are what is going to drive our economy following coronavirus."
Voting for the competition ceases tomorrow, Friday, with nominations still being sought via the MP's website, christianwakeford.org.uk, or his Facebook page.
