A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after a crash on the M60.
The incident happened at around 6am between junction 16 for Kearsley and 17 for Prestwich and Whitefield.
A vehicle had collided in while driving the outside lane scattering debris across the carriageway.
Three lanes of the motorway were closed clockwise while the emergency services attended, including the ambulance and fire services.
The vehicle was eventually moved to the hard shoulder for recovery.
All lanes of the motorway were reopened at around 7am.
Highways England Tweeted: "All lanes are now running after the car involved was moved onto the hard shoulder awaiting recovery.
"The driver has been taken to hospital. Apologies for any inconvenience, thanks for your co-operation."
