A MAN was taken to hospital after an assault in Prestwich.
Police were called to a property in Scholes Walk at around 12.15am this morning after reports of concerns for the welfare of a woman.
On arrival officers found that a man had been assaulted by another man.
The victim was taken to hospital but has since been discharged, a Greater Manchester Police spokesman said.
No arrests have yet been made, however an investigation into the incident is underway, officers confirmed.
