THE magic of London's West End musical theatre is coming to Bury.

Christ Church Walshaw will host an enchanting evening of musical entertainment featuring songs from some of theatreland's biggest productions including Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and The Greatest Showman.

All singers taking part in the show are professional performers from the world of musical theatre and have recently performed in the West End.

As well as world class music the singers will also share their own stories and experiences and speak about the work of Christian relief agency Tearfund in Uganda.

Reverend Steve Openshaw, priest of Christ Church Walshaw, said: " This is going to be an amazing evening.

"We are so pleased to be able to be a part of this UK tour with these amazing performers. And what's more it's Mothers Day the following day. What a great present for your mum, a ticket to watch performers from the West End."

The Faith At The Musicals event has been organised in partnership with West End Has Faith and Tearfund — which works around the globe supporting people living in poverty and providing disaster relief in disadvantaged communities.

Tickets for the event are priced £6 or £18 for a family of four.

Refreshments will be served during the interval and the evening is open to everyone.
