THREE men have been given 'street warnings' for possession of cannabis.
The cautions were handed out by officers who were patrolling the Moorside area of Bury last night.
Police searched a vehicle for drugs and issued warnings. These are given to anyone aged 10 or over who commits minor crimes.
Cautions are not a criminal conviction, but can be used as evidence of bad character if individuals go to court for another crime.
GMP Bury North tweeted about the response: this afternoon: "Late night patrolling from the Moorside officers resulted in a vehicle being searched for drugs and 3 males given street warnings for possession of cannabis.
