A WORKSHOP is being staged in Bury later this month for fledgling businesses.
Free advice is being offered by Start Smart, via the GC Business Growth Hub for Greater Manchester, for ambitious start-ups.
Those looking to take their enterprise to the next level are being asked to consider a two-day course on January 22 and 23 at Bury Town Hall.
A GC spokesman said: "This Start Smart workshop will help you gain insight into the basics all businesses should have in place, as well as hints, tips and ideas of how to move your business forward.
"You will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights from other new business owners including challenges and strategies they have used to overcome these."
Some elements to be covered will include 'business basics' such as legal and regulatory frameworks and insurance.
Market research support will be provided, as well as how to manage costs, VAT requirements and other taxes, access sources of finance and handle social media.
Important advice on how to deal with cashflow will also be detailed by business advisors Ashley Alletson and Phil Starr.
