Drivers may experience delays on the M60 at Whitefield after two lanes were closed.
The closures were put in place at about 9.45am from junction 17 towards junction 18 because of an obstruction in the carriageway.
Traffic Officers moved the vehicle causing the obstruction to the hard shoulder, and lanes reopened at 10.10am.
Drivers may notice heavier traffic than usual, but delays should clear up soon.
