Tram passengers in Bury have been warned of "severe delays" following a fault this morning, Tuesday.
The Bee Network, which operates trams across Greater Manchester, announced that customers were experiencing severe delays on both the Bury and Rochdale lines.
The network said the problem was first reported at around 8am and delays are expected until further notice.
The operator said tickets are being accepted on a number of bus services, including the 17, 41, 52 ,53, 90, 95, 97, 98 & 135 lines in Bury and the 57, 59, 81, 83, 181, 182, 409 & 411 lines in Rochdale.

There is ticket acceptance in place on the following bus services:
- Bury line: 17, 41, 52 ,53, 90, 95, 97, 98 & 135
- Rochdale line: 57, 59, 81, 83, 181, 182, 409 & 411
A spokesperson for the Bee Network said: "Due to an earlier tram fault, we are experiencing severe delays on the Bury and Rochdale lines.
