A concert orchestra is hoping to start its season with some new faces on Thursday- and more are welcome to join.
Ramsbottom Concert Orchestra is calling for new players to expand their ranks this season and join seasoned members in their upcoming rehearsals.
Established in 1986, the orchestra is made up of a mix of singers and musicians who typically meet every Thursday and prepare for their upcoming performances.
Musical director, Barry Sugden, said: “We are looking forward to the Start of the new season and will start Rehearsals on Thursday, September 7.
“The Ramsbottom Concert Orchestra are looking to expand and welcome new players and our rehearsals will be for our Concert Favourite Melodies on Thursday, November 9, at All Saints Church.”
Rehearsals, which begin this week, will take place at All Saints Church/St Francis House, Hebburn Drive, Brandlesholme, at 7.30pm.
