GIRLS at Stubbins Primary School have netted a new kit ahead of the competition season.
The netball team received new jackets, trousers, skirts and T-shirts from the school's parent-teacher association, after clinching a sponsorship deal with Ramsbottom estate agent Nicholas Clegg.
Netball coach Laura Taylor said: "This is a much valued new purchase. The old kit was really not worth wearing any more."
Currently 20 girls from Year 5 and Year 6 attend weekly netball practice at the school in Bolton Road North. A team of seven will be selected to play other schools in a mini-league competition .
