POLICE have started an investigation after a burglary at a home in Great Corby, near Carlisle.
The incident, where a window was smashed, happened between 2.45pm, May 9 and 7.55am on May 10.
It took place in a wooded area east of the River Eden near to the Corby Castle Estate.
A spokesman for Cumbria Constabulary said: "The offenders have smashed a window to an outhouse, stealing items from within.
"Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have seen suspicious activity in the area during this time."
