MORE than 160 homes were hit by a power cut in Prestwich in the early hours of today.
Electricity North West reported that 162 homes were cut off from their supply and engineers were sent to the scene.
A spokesman for the supplier said: "We are aware of a power cut in the Prestwich area affecting 162 properties.
"We currently have engineers on route to investigate and updates will follow."
