PLANS are in place for the last remaining borough library to reopen after lockdown.
Staff at Radcliffe Library, which was given a major makeover in 2019, are making final preparations to relaunch the Stand Lane facility.
Readers in Radcliffe have seen a click and collect service brought in.
And on Thursday, the main library was set to throw open its doors for the first time since the pandemic struck, for a collection and return operation.
Limited opening hours will be in play and access to the site's computers is expected, in line with other branches.
Council bosses have been reopening the borough's libraries on a phased basis. The process began with Bury's central library, before Ramsbottom's was also reopened.
Last week saw Prestwich Library, in the Longfield Centre, spring back into action. It will run each afternoon, Tuesday to Fridays.
Library users are being reminded that wearing a face mask will be mandatory on any of the premises, in line with current guidance.
