A CHARITY helping seriously and terminally ill children in the North West has received a £1,000 donation from the Amazon team in Bolton.
Wipe Your Tears grants end of life wishes, funds medical equipment and offers financial support to families who have incurred unexpected costs as a result of regular or long stay hospital visits.
The donation, part of Amazon's community initiative, will go towards supporting community shops with food and clothes as well as providing cuddle bags containing much needed items for children.
Nicolas Verdon, Site Leader at Amazon in Bolton, said: “Wipe Your Tears provides an essential service, helping families during difficult times.
"The team at Amazon in Bolton is very pleased to have made this donation.”
Wendy Hutchins, Chief Executive of Wipe Your Tears said: “We would like to thank Amazon for this donation.
"Being able to help children through a difficult time is priceless so we appreciate contributions like this that help ease the financial burden of long stays in hospital.”
