NEXT weekend is set to be another scorcher with temperatures that could reach as high as 26 degrees across the borough.

Despite a cloudy day tomorrow, and chances of wet and windy weather on Wednesday, the rest of the week is set to be warm and sunny.

Blazing sunshine due at the end of the week will push the UV index to high on Friday and Saturday, as temperatures are set to hit a high of 26° on Friday afternoon, hotter than the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles.

Cloudy spells could be seen across Saturday afternoon, although highs of 24 degrees are still expected across the borough.

Sunday will be a little coller, with temperatures falling to around 22 degrees, according to the Met Office.

Forecasters say there is a small risk of thunderstorms across the weekend, with the north west expected to see some unsettled weather as we head into next week.

Overnight temperatures are expected to remain in the mid-teens across the rest of the week, dropping to a low of 13° in the early hours of Sunday morning.
