A group of youths were seen “trashing” a children’s play area in Abbey Meads.
PCSO Lee Hare took to Facebook asking parents to call their children in order to find out where the youngsters were after the play area in Brookfield Park was damaged on Sunday night.
The officer, who is well-known from his video updates shared to the Swindon Police social media page, said: “This park has been absolutely trashed by the group."
Rubber matting had been torn up beneath the swings and orange safety barriers knocked to the floor.
The “large group” included a boy wearing a grey tracksuit, another in a blue gilet and a third boy cycling an orange bike, Mr Hare said.
The PCSO warned: “For those that we can identify we will be speaking to parents over the next couple of days.”
