AN Investigation has been launched after a blaze ripped through a home on a residential street.
One person had to be treated by firefighters at the scene after they were called to Westgate in Burnley on Sunday.
A fire service spokesman said: “Two fire engines from Burnley were called to a fire at a house on Westgate, Burnley. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. One person was treated by paramedics at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
