A NORTH Yorkshire-based distillery is celebrating after securing listings in a number of specialist retailers.
Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery has sealed deals which will see its latest bottling, Filey Bay Moscatel Finish, on the shelves at 28 Booths shops and other stores.
The launch was announced at Booths' first ever virtual taste and talk, hosted by Spirit of Yorkshire's co-founder and managing director, David Thompson, broadcasting live from the distillery.
Established in 2016, the distillery is a collaboration between David and Tom Mellor, of Wold Top Brewery.
It has also enjoyed playing a part at virtual tasting events during the lockdown period, celebrating the English whisky market, including a sell-out virtual tasting with The Whisky Lounge.
