Volunteers from 'Benefit Mankind' have been supporting the elderly who may be self-isolating across Lancashire.
Buncer Lane Pharmacy, Blackburn partnered with the charity in helping them to deliver food parcels to the local community. Over 200 food packs are being delivered daily across the county.
An emergency hotline was setup where anyone requesting a food parcel could have it delivered to their door step.
Benefit Mankind is an international aid relief and development organisation located in the United Kingdom.
A spokesperson said, "We believe in being open and honest about our work, exploring the challenges we face and sharing our successes.
"Our donors need to be confident that they are informed about how we use our resources and accomplish our goals. We operate with a 100% donations policy which means every penny you donate goes on your chosen project."
If you are self-isolating and cannot get access to food you can call 01254 589882 for a free delivery of non-perishable food items.
