Care home staff in East Lancashire have been keeping busy during lockdown, by creating a music video featuring all their lovely residents.

Lancashire Telegraph:

Staff at Woodlands Care Home in Clayton-le-Moors, put together a version of I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends on Wednesday afternoon, and posted it on their Facebook page.

Manager of the care home, Gina Lone said: "The care home is currently in lockdown but the staff have been absolutely amazing.

"None of them have been off or have had to go into self-isolation and everyone has been going above and beyond to make sure we keep things running.

"Staff have cancelled annual leave, and they've been keeping the residents entertained."

Lancashire Telegraph:

Mrs Lone said all the residents at Woodlands, which caters for those with dementia, are doing well and have been keeping in touch with loved ones using the power of technology.

Mrs Lone continued: "They are all fine and they've been Facetiming with their relatives and Skyping too.

"Some of their relatives have even been coming to talk to them through the window, and we ring them daily to let them know how they're getting on.

"Things are good and we're all keeping our spirits up."
