ANOTHER case of coronavirus has been confirmed in Bury.
The increase brings the total to 15 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 infection in the borough, according to the latest statistics published by the Department for Health and Social Care and Public Health England.
As of 9am on March 24, a total of 90,436 people have been tested - with 82,359 negative and 8,077 positive.
As of 1pm, 422 patients who tested positive for coronavirus have sadly died.
Across the UK confirmed cases of the Covid-19 infection have topped 6,650.
In the North West of England, there have been 59 cases in Lancashire, while Manchester has had 37 closely followed by Stockport.
Trafford and Oldham have seen 28 cases, and Salford has seen 25 cases.
Meanwhile Rochdale ranks next highest with 19 cases, followed by Bolton with 18.
