ANOTHER major aerospace supply deal has been confirmed by an East Lancashire manufacturer.
Velocity Composites, in Burnley, has been making complex process material kits for the Boeing 737 Max since June 2018.
But this long-term agreement has now been expanded to cover structural composite material kits.
This includes providing a fully-managed service at one of the airline giant's locations.
Bosses at the AMS Technology Park based outfit say the announcement is a key plank of their growth strategy.
Jon Bridges, Velocity chief executive, said: "This is the culmination of close, multi-functional co-operation from all parties and working together with the customer to remove waste from the composite material supply and production process."
The deal means the firm now has a host of regulatory qualifications with industry leaders, such as Airbus and others. In 2017 the company announced an ambitious £14.4million cash injection.
