THERE are currently no trams running on a section of the Bury line due to a fault.
Manchester Metrolink announced that there are no services operating between Timperley and Altrincham due to a "Network Rail points fault" on platform two at Altrincham.
Passengers are instead being advised to board a Piccadilly tram and change at Timperley for services to Bury.
Metrolink tweeted: "Due to a Network Rail points fault on Altrincham platform 2, there are no Bury Services operating between Timperley and Altrincham. Customers are advised to board a Piccadilly Service and change at Timperley for a service to Bury.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
