GATEWARTH tip will close for two days next week as the final stage of improvements works take place.
Resurfacing works will be carried out on Barnard Street, directly outside the community recycling centre (CRC).
Council bosses say the facility will close on Tuesday and Wednesday next week, September 24 and 25, in order for the works to be undertaken safely and efficiently.
However the work is weather dependant, and any changes will be communicated as early as possible.
In order to compensate for the short-term closure of Gatewarth CRC, Woolston CRC will be open for extended hours – from 8am to 6pm – on these days.
