TWO people were taken to hospital after a crash.
The crash happened in Rochdale Road, Edenfield, at around 6.30am on Thursday, July 18.
It involved a Skoda Octavia and Vauxhall Astra which were travelling in opposite directions.
The driver of the Astra, a 30 year old woman from Rochdale, suffered a fractured wrist and fractured ankle.
The driver of the Octavia, a 27 year old man from Bacup, sustained a head injury.
Both were taken to Salford Royal Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed for over six hours for collision investigation.
Police are now appealing for information.
Sgt Mick Belfield of Lancashire’s tactical operations division said: “We’re working to establish the circumstances surrounding collision and need anyone with information or any relevant video footage to get in touch.”
