TRAM passengers have been warned to plan alternate routes into Manchester this weekend.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) will not be running any Metrolink services on the Bury line on Saturday or Sunday while engineers complete improvement works.
The trams have been replaced with bus services covering the same routes.
In a tweet, a TfGM spokesman said: "Planned improvements mean that there will be no services running on the Bury line today and tomorrow.
"A bus replacement service is in operation. Please allow more time for your journey."
