POLICE have released an image showing a number of men they need to speak to after a fight in Newcastle city centre.

The incident happened at about 7.10pm on Saturday, May 11, when a fight broke out at the Rose and Crown Pub, near to China Town.

A number of men inside the pub had got into an altercation with door staff during which two men, aged 38 and 30, were assaulted.

Nobody was seriously injured during the incident and those involved left the pub prior to police arrival.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and now police have released an image of seven men they wish to speak to.

They were in the pub at the time of the incident and would be able to assist the police investigation.

The men, or anyone who knows their identity, are urged to contact Northumbria Police on 101 quoting log 940 11/05/19.
