A DRIVER has been arrested after crashing into railings and losing a front wheel.
Traffic police came across the driver's white Range Rover in Bury New Road, Whitefield - close to the junction with Barn Street - yesterday afternoon.
After taking a breathalyser test, the driver was arrested.
Their vehicle was later recovered.
GMP Traffic tweeted: "A vehicle struck some railing and then lost a front wheel in a collision in @GMPWhitefield this afternoon.
"Driver blew 81 & was arrested.
"Thanks to colleagues @GmpBury & @GMPSpecials who assisted. Vehicle recovered."
