HEALTHCARE workers will be honoured for their efforts at regional awards.
The shortlist of 30 individuals and teams has been announced for Greater Manchester's Health & Care Champion Awards 2019.
Three people in Bolton have been nominated: Alvine Andrews from Oak Lodge, Bolton; the Homeless & Vulnerable Adults Team from the hospital and council; Lucy Coke from Bolton hospital.
The awards are organised by Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Partnership, the body that oversees the area’s £6bn devolved health and social care budget.
Jon Rouse, chief officer of the partnership said: "Congratulations to everyone who has been nominated in the Champion Awards.
"Reading through the nominations was a moving experience. There are clearly so many people out there who, every day, are working hard to better the lives of the people in our region. Agreeing the final shortlist was very difficult but I would like to wish the nominees the very best of luck.”
