EASELS and brushes are at the ready as Bury Art Festival prepares to return for its tenth year.
The annual celebration of the borough's artistic talent and beauty will open at Bury Art Museum tomorrow, running until Saturday, May 18.
To date, the festival has helped to raise more than £100,000 for Bury Hospice.
This year will again support the town's hospice, with funds raised going to support the nurses.
Bury Hospice costs more than £2million each year to run, and relies on the support of the community to provide the bulk of its funding.
Festival organisers hope that their tenth anniversary show will be the most successful yet.
Last year's event drew hundreds of people through the doors to view the work of more than 100 artists.
Visitors are invited to attend the museum between 10am and 5pm Tuesday to Friday, and between 10am-4pm on Saturday.
