EMERGENCY services have been called to a multi-vehicle crash on the M60.
Police officers and fire crews are currently at the scene of the incident on the anti-clockwise carriageway over Barton Bridge.
Motorists are experiencing delays due to the collision.
Two lanes of the motorway have been shut due to the collision between Junction 11 for Peel Green and the A57 and Junction 10 for the Trafford Centre.
North West Motorway Police tweeted: "RTC J11-10 M60 ACW on Barton Bridge vehicles in lane 1 and 2."
Highways England tweeted: "Lanes 1 and 2 are both closed on the #M60 anticlockwise between #J11 PeelGreen and #J10 #TraffordCentre due to a collision.
"Please adhere to signals if travelling along this route over #BartonBridge @NWmwaypolice @OfficialTfGM @manchesterfire."
