A MAJOR sponsorship deal has been signed by a North West oil firm and Bury and District Agricultural Society, fuelling the society's popular show for the future.
The agreement has been struck between the society and Crown Oil.
Based in Heywood, Crown Oil is one of the UK's leading fuel and lubricant providers.
It specialises in oil products and related services and has been supplying the agricultural sector with diesel and farm fuels for 70 years.
The firm has also been a supporter of Bury and District Agricultural Society, and its annual show, for its entire existence.
Jodie Walton, from Bury and District Agricultural Society, said: “We have built up a strong working relationship with Crown Oil over the past few years, and I am delighted that they have continued in their support for us by being our official supplier for fuel this year, ensuring that all our machines are powered by the best fuels around.”
Bury Agricultural show will return to Burrs Country Park on June 30, to celebrate it 76th year. The show has been held in Bury since 1943 supporting the borough's farming community and sector and fundraising for charity.
