THREE teenagers have been charged after police were called to a robbery at Whitefield Metrolink tram stop.
At about 7.40pm on Friday, police were called to the station in Stanley Road.
They arrested three teenagers on suspicion of robbery and drugs offences. They were taken into police custody.
A 14-year-old girl has now been charged with robbery, possession of a blade and assault.
A 17-year-old body has been charged with robbery and possession of a blade.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with robbery.
The three teenagers are due to appear in court on Monday, April 15.
Greater Manchester Police's Whitefield division tweeted about the charges yesterday: "Robbery incident yesterday by Whitefield Metrolink.
"15-year-old female charged with robbery, possessing a blade and assaulting emergency service workers.
"17-year-old male charged with robbery and possess blade.
"15-year-old male charged with robbery."
