A MAN has been banned from driving for 12 months for dangerous driving.
Harrison Smith, aged 23, was also handed an 18-month suspended prison sentence and required to carry out rehabilitation activities.
Smith, from Whitefield, appeared in court for driving a stolen red Chevrolet that had been used during a burglary.
Greater Manchester Police’s Whitefield division tweeted about his court sentence: “Court result: Harrison Smith, aged 23 from Whitefield, was given an 18-month suspending imprisonment, rehabilitation activities and 12-month driving ban for handling stolen Chevvy from a burglary and dangerous driving. He led police on a pursuit from Whitefield to Heywood.”
