THREE people who were arrested after a car was deliberately driven at pedestrians in Bury have been released under investigation.
Four people were injured in the incident, which happened at around 11.10pm on Friday night following a dispute that is believed to have taken place outside PlayFootball at Bury College in Market Street.
Minor injuries were sustained by four people, two of whom were taken to hospital.
Two men, aged 18 and 21, and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of affray, and have since been released under investigation.
Market Street remained closed throughout Saturday morning while police carried out enquiries.
Redvales councillor Tamoor Tariq tweeted: “I understand there is some concern about an incident outside Bury College late last night.
“Essentially there was a disturbance following a party, & those injured are being treated and Police continuing their investigation. No risk or harm to the wider community.”sed throughout Saturday morning as police carried out enquiries.
A spokesman for PlayFootball said: “We are aware that there was an incident on Market Street.
“It is a police matter and we have no further comment.”
