GANGS of youths have been repeatedly targetting Prestwich town centre in wave of antisocial behaviour, police say.
Police were called numerous times yesterday evening to reports of antisocial behaviour at the Longfield Centre.
Officers reported that children as young as 11 were among those committing the offences.
They also sought to ensure that parents know where their children are in the evening and at night as the repeated call outs had diverted police from attending other incidents.
In a post on Twitter, GMP Prestwich said: "Officers have been called to repeated anti-social behaviour by youths on the Longfield Centre this evening.
"Some groups as young as 11 have been causing problems and diverting officers away from other incidents.
"Do you know what your children get up to during the school holidays?"
