MANCHESTER Victoria Station has been reopened following a knife attack last night.
Manchester Metrolink announced on social media that the staff had been told by police the station can be re-opened and services will be operating as normal.
A critical incident was declared last night and counter terrorism police responded. While the forensics team was working the station had to remain closed.
Manchester Metrolink tweeted: "The police have advised that Victoria Station can be re-opened. Services will now operate to the normal pattern.
"Please bear with us whilst we re-configure the service as we will experience minor delays."

The knife attack happened at around 9pm, a man and a woman both in their 50s were stabbed by the attacker.
A police sergeant was also sustained an injury to his shoulder.
One man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
