A MAN has been arrested after he threatened a takeaway delivery driver with a knife.
The man, from Prestwich, ordered a takeaway but then refused to pay for it when it was delivered.
Instead, he threatened the delivery driver with a knife, police said.
Officers were called to the incident in Warwick Street on Friday night.
When they attended, they discovered a large amount of cannabis. The man was also arrested for possession of the class B drug with intent to supply.
Prestwich police tweeted about the incident.
