A BURST pipe sent water shooting into the street this afternoon.
The broken water main in Worsley Road, Farnworth, started spraying water at around 3pm.
Homeowners living on the street had water streaming into their homes.
However, the burst pipe is not affecting the water supplies of any households in the area.
United Utilities say they are aware of the incident and engineers are en route to the street to fix the pipe.
