An air ambulance was called to the scene
MOTORISTS on the M60 could be caught up in delays after a five-vehicle pile up.
The M56 eastbound towards Manchester Airport has been reopened in the last hour after the North West Air Ambulance was deployed to tackle the incident which blocked all lanes before the turn-off for Manchester Airport, junction five.
It is understood at least four people have been injured.
