HEALTH staff have been swapping their suits for denim as they dressed down once a month for a year.
Staff at Bury's Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) raised more than £400 for Bury Hospice and Grace's Place.
Dr. Jeff Schryer, chairman for NHS Bury CCG, said: “We are really pleased to be able to support local charities in this way.
"Both charities provide valued services and do fantastic work, supporting patients and their families during very difficult times in their lives and providing them with specialist care and support.
“Dress down day has two main benefits; it’s good for our beneficiaries, and also for our staff morale.
"It’s something our teams look forward to at the end of the month and it changes the face of the working day.
"Following our office relocation, our teams are now looking at new way to raise money to help benefit more local causes.”
