A DRUGS raid was carried out in Prestwich this morning.
Officers executed a warrant at a house in Heys Road and seized a number of cannabis plants.
A member of the public said he saw officers force their way into the property and that he could see UV lights inside.
No arrests have been made.
A tweet from GMP Prestwich's Twitter account shared a number of pictures from the raid. It read: "Result of a warrant on Heys Road this morning. Your sign didnt work, sorry about the mess..."
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police added: "Shortly before 8.10am on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, police executed a drugs warrant at a property on Heys Road in Prestwich.
"A number of cannabis plants have been seized and enquiries are ongoing.
"No arrests have been made.
"Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 387 of 10/04/18, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
