Sarah Brightman will return to London for a headline show for the first time since 2004 when she brings her world tour to the Royal Albert Hall for one night only.

The soprano will don elaborate costumes and tiaras featuring more than 600,000 Swarovski crystals when she returns to home ground for her Hymn world tour.

The Berkhamsted-born singer said: “It’s been a long time since I performed in London and I’m so excited to bring this beautiful new show back home to you and perform new songs and of course many favourites.

“To me, Hymn suggests joy and a feeling of hope and light – something familiar and secure, like home.”

Brightman last headlined the Royal Albert Hall in 1997 and will return on November 11 accompanied by her band, a full orchestra, choir and special guests to be announced in the coming months.

Brightman began her current world tour in South America in November 2018 and it includes 125 shows across five continents throughout 2019.

Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public on January 25 at 10am and are available online at cuffeandtaylor.com. Fan pre-sale is available from January 21.
