The Council have made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, operative from 13th October 2017 its effect will be for the prohibition of a U-Turn from the Manchester Road northbound carriageway at its junction with Loxham Street and Loxham Street westbound carriageway at its junction with Manchester Road. A copy of the Order, plans and statement of the reasons may be viewed at Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton during office hours (by tel, 01204 336677). Anybody wishing to question the Order’s provisions or validity may, within 6 weeks from the 6th October 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose. THE BOLTON (SPEED LIMIT) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2016 (CHORLEY OLD ROAD, OLD KILN LANE, BOLTON) (AMENDMENT) (NO. ) ORDER 2017
The Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; its effect will be to delete and impose speed limits in the Smithills and Horwich North East area as specified in the draft Order. Deletions: National Speed Limit B6226 Chorley Old Road – From its junction with the B6402 Old Kiln Lane to its south easterly junction with Bottom O’th Moor B6402 Old Kiln Lane – From its junction with the A58 Moss Bank Way to its junction with the B6226 Chorley Old Road. 40 Mph Speed Limit B6402 Old Kiln Lane – From its junction with A58 Moss Bank Way to a point 25 metres west of the A58 Moss Bank Way Additions: 50 Mph Speed Limit B6226 – Chorley Old Road – From its junction with the B6402 Old Kiln Lane to its south easterly junction with Bottom O’th Moor B6402 – Old Kiln Lane – From its junction with A58 Moss Bank Way to its junction with B6226 Chorley Old Road Dated: 6th October 2017 REF: LS/KT/72901

THE BOLTON (SPEED LIMIT) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2016 (WALKER FOLD ROAD, COLLIERS ROW ROAD, SCOUT ROAD, SMITHILLS DEAN ROAD, BOLTON) (AMENDMENT) (NO. ) ORDER 2017 The Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; its effect will be to impose speed limits in the Smithills and Horwich North East area as specified in the draft Order. Additions: 50 Mph Speed Limit Walker Fold Road – For its entire length Colliers Row Road – For its entire length Scout Road – From its junction with Colliers Row Road and Smithills Dean Road, to the boundary between Bolton Borough and Blackburn with Darwen Borough. The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, its effect will be as follows:- Additions: No Waiting At Any Time: Lostock Junction Lane east side from its junction with Rumworth Road, in a northerly direction to a point 96 metres south of its junction with Glengarth Drive; Sudbury Drive north side from a point 15 metres west of its junction with the extended westerly kerbline of Lostock Junction Lane for a distance of 25 metres in a westerly direction; Sudbury Drive south side from a point 15 metres west of its junction with the extended westerly kerbline of Lostock Junction Lane to its junction with the extended easterly kerbline of Ashbridge Close; Ashridge Close east side from its junction with the extended southerly kerbline of Sudbury Drive for a distance of 12 metres in a southerly direction. No Waiting Monday – Friday 9.00am – 3-00pm Ashridge Close west side from its junction with the extended westerly kerbline of Sudbury Drive in a southerly direction to its Cul de Sac end (including turning heads); Ashridge Close east side from a point 12 metres south of the extended southerly kerbline of Sudbury Drive in a southerly direction to its Cul de Sac end (including turning heads); Sudbury Drive west side from the extended westerly kerbline of Ashridge Close in a northerly direction to its Cul de Sac end (including turning head); Sudbury Drive east side from a point 40 metres west of its junction with the extended westerly kerbline of Lostock Junction Lane in a northerly and westerly direction to its Cul de Sac end. No Loading/Unloading At Any Time Lostock Junction Lane both sides from its junction with Rumworth Road to a point 15 metres north of the extended northerly kerbline of Sudbury Drive; Rumworth Road both sides from its junction with Lostock Junction Lane in a southerly direction to the intersection with the extended northerly kerbline of Middlebrook Drive.
