SEDGLEY Park’s under-11s rugby team enjoyed a mini tour to Scotland to round off their season.
The team visited the Edinburgh Sevens festival first to soak up the senior action before their first matches against Kirkcaldy U11s and Dunfermline U12s the following day.
The youngsters won 15-5 against Kirkcaldy but lost 20-10 to the older Dunfermline side.
The matches were split into two in a round robin style, so Sedgley played Kirkcaldy then Dunfermline for 10 minutes each game, followed by Dunfermline playing Kircaldy, and then the three games were played again.
In the second match against Kirkcaldy, it ended 30-15 to Sedgley with nine tries scored inside 10 minutes.
The final game against Dunfermline ended 5-5.
Team coach Eddie Newton is looking to add to the squad next season and anyone interested can call him on 07765 411265 for more details.
