WHITEFIELD boxer Rhys Roberts has had to withdraw from his scheduled fight in Altrincham on July 11 through illness.

The 20-year-old super bantamweight, who has a 100 per cent record from seven bouts, has been struggling with a chest infection and would not have been fit enough to take to the ring.

He hopes to be back in action within the next few months.
